This week has been pretty slow going for our group because even though we came up with plan on what we're going to do, we still weren't able to execute it jus yet. My group plans to execute the plan next week so that we can make some progress. Our plan, since we can't sell musubis, is to donate our time to our ʻOhana so that in return they may be able to pay us for our efforts and we will be able to donate that money to the Education for the Philippines Foundation so that they will be able to get more money and provide the education they need. We can learn more about the Philippines and its society by researching them and why they would need money for education. Like what has happened to them over the years, that they would need money from outer resources. Overall, we plan on donating our time to our ʻOhana and maybe anyone else who needs help that would be willing to pay us.

AuthorStudent at Kamehameha Schools ArchivesCategoriesThis Project is important to me because when I am able to help others that are less fortunate than me, it makes me feel good and it makes me want to do more for others rather than myself. I also feel that this project is important to me because I feel that every person, no matter who they are or where they come from, deserve a chance at education so that they can have an even better chance at being successful in life. |
