So recently we learned that we can no longer sell musubis on campus because of rules and regulations because of our new principle. Now we're kind of at a lost at what we're going to do. We will meet up more this week to try and figure out what we are going to do and if we're still going to try and raise money or if we're going to donate our time into something else. So far we have been showing laulima in our group by working together on and off campus to try and figure out what we're going to do. We also have shown ʻoluʻolu by keeping calm when we found out that we aren't able to do what we originally wanted to do. Which was to sell musubis and when we found that out we didn't freak out too much, but instead we got together to come up with a plan. Although we don't have one yet we will hopefully have one next week that we can work on and follow through with.
We have decided to sell musubis and we are planning to make and sell them next week. There has been a lot of planning that has went into this to decide how and when we are going to sell our product. We have decided to sell the musubis for $1.50. We have planned to all walk around school with our own separate bags of musubis to sell around school every school day. Hopefully we plan on raising about $100 but we will strive for more.

AuthorStudent at Kamehameha Schools ArchivesCategoriesThis Project is important to me because when I am able to help others that are less fortunate than me, it makes me feel good and it makes me want to do more for others rather than myself. I also feel that this project is important to me because I feel that every person, no matter who they are or where they come from, deserve a chance at education so that they can have an even better chance at being successful in life. |
